Super Junior Leeteuk and Choi Si Won, and Kim Hyun Joong was featured in CNN iList Korea.
CNN iList Korea Special (airing on 6th-12th) with anchor Anna Coren has met with the UN Secretary Ban Ki Moon and the leaders of the Hallyu Wave Super Junior and Kim Hyun Joong.

With the upcoming G20 2010 Summit to be held in Seoul on the 11th, Anna Coren had the opportunity to interview UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon on the 6th and talked a lot about Korea.

Also as the leaders of Hallyu Wave, idol group Super Junior Leeteuk and Choi Siwon were interviewed on how the 13 members are doing their activities and targeting the foreign market through Facebook and Twitter

The drama “Playful Kiss” has also been gaining popularity across Asia, Latin America and Europe through Youtube as testified by the drama’s main actor Kim Hyun Joong.

In addition, CNN iList Korea also featured Seoul’s food and culture. CNNGo also met up with South Korean architect Cho Min Suk to be broadcasted on the 12th on Talk Asia.

[News] Super Junior ShinDong Continue To Perform In Super Show 3 Despite Injury

Nari twitted last November 11 about Shindong’s injury and said “ShinDong has strain his shoulder ligament badly and (his) shoulder is very swollen. Even though (they) had bandaged it and your wrist is also bandaged but the pain is so bad that it will also hurt when you coughㅠ (Doctor) said that you need to rest for 4 weeks but after eating ‘Anodyne’ you continue with your schedule..Please don’t get hurt again!! “

In fact on MBC Shimshimtapa, a photo was revealed where in Shindong was wearing a jacket covering up his injury on his arm. While Shindong is in pain he still attended their Super Show 3 concert in Nanjing China and didn’t fail to entertain the fans despite his injuries.

[News] 20K tourists turn up with Super Junior M at Dinosaur Park, announces their new album next year

On the night of 29th, Korean idol group, Super Junior M made an appearance at China’s Dinosaur Park Halloween “Ghost Carnival”, with up to 20,000 tourists attending it as well.

Together with some dance, Super Junior M sang for 4 songs, , , and with much delight of the fans offstage.

On stage, a fan gave a hand-made cake to the members, apart from receiving a signed CD; she also had a chance to hug her idols to much envy of the fans.

That night, Super Junior also announced a piece of good news to all fans – they will be releasing an album next year. And for that album, they will continue to brush up on their Chinese.

[News] Super Junior K.R.Y. to hold Their Concert in Korea

Super Junior’s ballad unit, Super Junior- K.R.Y. will be holding their concert in Korea for the first time.
Super Junior-K.R.Y. will hold their own concert titled ‘SUPER JUNIOR-K.R.Y. THE 1ST CONCERT’ from February 11th to 13th. The concert will be held in Seoul Olympic Park Woori Finance Art Hall and are expected to mesmerize the audience.

Super Junior- K.R.Y. is the first unit of Super Junior and are comprised of Super Junior’s members Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung. As the ballad unit, they have participated in Super Junior’s albums as well as various OSTs, getting recognition for their superb singing abilities and beautiful harmony.

The group has successfully finished their concert in Japan and Taiwan last year. Due to ardent requests from Korean fans wanting to see Super Junior-K.R.Y.’s concert, the group decided to hold the concert in Korea.
Because it’s the first time that Super Junior’s unit will hold their own concert, people can expect to see Super Junior-K.R.Y.’s unique music color. Also, the concert is expected to receive high interest from many music fans.

Meanwhile, Super Junior have finished off their album activity and are currently working actively in various fields as MCs, actors, DJs and musical actors.

[News] SUPER JUNIOR to hold a concert in Japan

Popular Korean dance performance group, SUPER JUNIOR has announced that they’ve added Japan as one of their destinations for their upcoming Asian Tour titled SUPER SHOW 3.

SUPER JUNIOR will hold a concert early next at the Yokohama Arena on February 18th and 19th. Although this is their 3rd Asian Tour, this will be their first time performing for Japanese fans. The tickets willgo on sale starting November 2nd at 3:00PM through Japan’s official supporter’s club, E.L.F-JAPAN.

[News] Super Junior Concert with 3D Movie, Released on 24th

Super Junior’s live concert has its own movie, called ‘Super Show 3 3D’ was opened on the 23rd to the crowd.
The same day, CGV held a premiere at 6 PM for Super Junior fans, who got to enjoy ’Super Show 3 3D’ with Leeteuk, Shindong, and Yesung, who attended the premiere as well.

At the movie screening, when they showed Super Junior greeting the crowd, Leeteuk commented, “It’s suprising that I can feel the same amazement here that I did at the concert. Since many of you came, I hope that you all can enjoy the movie.” Yesung said, “I haven’t been in a movie theater since ‘Chain Time of Terror for Hotties’, so it feels new to greet people here again.” Meanwhile, Shindong said, “I’m really excited to see myself in 3D form. I can suddenly pop out, so don’t get scared!”, causing the fans to laugh.

For 80 minutes, Super Junior fans watched the whole movie wearing 3D glasses and waving blue glow sticks [which symbolizes, creating a concert-like enviroment with the constant excitement.

“Super Show 3 3D will be showing in all CGV and Primus movie theaters starting on the 24th. This movie was a recording recorded by a 3D camera in Super Junior’s August concert in the Seoul Olympic Stadium. This concert was the Seoul concert, which was part of the third of Super Junior’s Asian tours.”

Meanwhile, SM Entertainment is planning on releasing and creating many more 3D concert movies of their artists.

[News] Super Junior Yesung, introduced on a Japanese programme that provides Korean language courses

Super Junior Yesung’s song was introduced on a Japanese programme that teaches Korean.
Recently, on NHK Japan’s programme which provides Korean courses, Super Junior Yesung’s hit song “It Has To Be You”, which is the OST for the KBS2 drama “Cinderella’s Stepsister”, was introduced. The MCs explained that “Super Junior is a popular group which has 13 members gathered under its fold, and has widespread activities in terms of singing, MC-ing, acting and more. Yesung is responsible for the lead vocals (in the group), and in recognition of his outstanding vocals he also has solo activities”. Later on, they appreciated a scene in the drama which had “It Has To Be You” as an insert, and also had some time to analyse the lyrics of the song.

Although Super Junior has had several activities in Japan through the SMTown concerts, they have not officially made their debut in Japan. However their popularity is so massive that a solo song (of theirs) was introduced on a Korean language teaching programme. They already have a popularity great enough to keep them in first place on music charts for more than 32 weeks in Chinese-speaking countries such as Hong Kong, Taiwan and China, and have demonstrated that they are truly worthy to be recognised as the “Hallyu-dols” in Asia.

Super Junior is expected to attend the “K-pop Super Live Concert” which will be opening at Tokyo, Japan on the 15th of May.

Asia’s most popular group Super Junior will hold their concert “Super Show 3″ in Japan.

Super Junior will hold their third Asia tour “Super Show 3″ February 18th and the 19th of next year in Yokohama, Japan. Almost 25000 Japanese fans are expected to attend the concert.

Since this concert will be the first time “Super Show” will be held in Japan, Super Junior members’ bright charms, various performances, grand stage effects will create a fantastic concert, mesmerizing all the fans.

Some critics are saying that Super Junior’s selling power in Japan has already been proved. Super Junior was introduced as the most popular group in Korea on a popular Japanese drama, “Team Medical Dragon 3.” Japan is already showing high interest in the group and many are expecting that the upcoming concert will have an overwhelming response.

Also, Super Junior K.R.Y. was the first unit to have their solo concert in Japan held in August. Because of great number of request for encore performance, they will hold “Super Junior K.R.Y. Special Concert in Japan” in Kobe on November 1st and the 2nd. On December 1st and the 2nd, Super Junior K.R.Y. will hold their concert in Fukuoka which are expected to have total audience of 20000.

Meanwhile, Super Junior’s third Asia tour, “Super Show 3″ were held successfully in Seoul, Qingdao and Beijing. The concert will be held in 13 Asian cities including Guangzhou, Taipei, Bangkok, Singapore and Manila for a total of 16 shows.

Group Super Junior’s Choi Siwon has boasted a shining appearance even while overseas.

 

On the afternoon of the 8th (of April), Siwon attracted attention when he wrote “An unforgettable meeting with the stylish David Lauren and Charles Fagan of Polo Ralph Lauren it was a very good time” and published a photo taken with the two through his personal Twitter.

In the photo that was revealed, Choi Siwon was showing an affectionate appearance together with the other two persons. In particular, he who was standing between the other two, stood out through his tall height and handsome face, which attracted more attention.

[NEWS] Yesung Becomes The New DJ On Super Junior’s Kiss The Radio

Yesung from idol group Super Junior will replace Eunhyuk as a radio DJ.

Yesung has been chosen as the new DJ on KBS Cool FM(89.1㎒) Super Junior’s Kiss The Radio and starting February 28, he will be hosting the program with Leeteuk.

Eunhyuk who has been hosting Super Junior’s Kiss The Radio will leave his DJ position to Yesung for awhile to focus on Super Junior-M’s activities. Super Junior-M, Super Junior’s unit for China has started the promotion of their new mini-album.

On February 28, Leeteuk, Eunhyuk and Yesung will host Super Junior’s Kiss The Radio together. Eunhyuk will say his farewell and Yesung will have his initiation on that day which is expected to make the program more enjoyable for the listeners.

Yesung has an experience as a DJ when he hosted DMB radio program, Super Junior Yesung’s Miracle For You. Since this is his first time as a DJ of a national radio program, he aims to display different charms with Leeteuk.

Meanwhile, Super Junior will hold their third Asia tour, Super Show III in Manila, Philippines on February 26.

[News] Super Junior M debuts at second place in album sales

G-Music recovered from last week’s embarrassment of coming up with a “Top 20 album sales chart” that added up to a whopping 110%*. Unlike last week, where the public was paying for albums that they did not buy, this week’s chart added up to a modest 84% – proving that their retailers had more albums on sale than just the top 20.


Super Junior-M, the subgroup of the popular Korean boy group Super Junior, debuts at second place on both the G-Music and Five Music sales charts this week with “Perfection”. A-Lin’s “Loneliness Is Not The Hardest Part” also reenters top five on Five Music’s chart with a new repackaged version; “Give Me A Reason To Forget” continues to sustain its popularity, taking fourth place on the singles and KTV charts. Anthony Neely‘s “The Last Embrace” manages to bump the long running KTV champion, Tiger Huang’s “Not That Simple”, out of first place on Party World’s KTV chart.

*Total album sales should include all albums currently available in the market, not only the top 20. Hence, the top 20 should never add up to 100% of sales.
